I have been creative in some form or another for as long as I can remember!
Drawing, art and design were interests fostered by my father and his proclamation upon viewing my every creation... "You could make money selling this"! It always made me laugh. To this day I don't think my decoupage driftwood wall hangings would have fetched much, but my dad's enthusiasm and encouragement for my artistic endeavors meant everything to me.
I moved to the Mt. Washington Valley in 1985 after a great stint as a designer for a small advertising agency in Kennebunk, Maine. Trading the ocean for the mountains was tough, at first, but this beautiful area quickly grew on me and soon became home. Life in the Valley offered opportunities to wear many hats, and I tried them all on... art director for a local resort, bartender, waitress, newspaper ad salesperson, administrative assistant, marketing & advertising, to name a few. The common, underlying theme in all of these jobs was creativity. No matter how I made a living, I always found a way to strut my creative stuff. And, when push came to shove and I had to choose, this is what I chose.

Oh, one more thing. My enthusiasm is second only to my work ethic".
